Fashion house Thom Browne unveiled its Fall 2023 campaign lensed by fashion photographer Emma Louise Swanson. In charge of set design was Alicia Sciberras, with casting direction from Adam Hindle. Beauty is work of hair stylist Mustafa Yanaz, and makeup artist Susie Sobol. Among the stars of the campaign are Lulu Wood and Rockwell Harwood.
The Fall 2023 campaign for Thom Browne was captured at Montauk Point, famously dubbed “the end,” a location where land smoothly melds into the sea. Positioned on a breezy hill with a backdrop of the lighthouse, the campaign introduces four figures enveloped in intricate layered attire and maritime-themed looks, drawing inspiration from the narrative of “Moby Dick.” Are these individuals timeless residents of this place, or have they just ventured upon its shores?
The collection reveals Thom Browne‘s design skilfulness through a cascade of textures and silhouettes. Cropped knits reveal a hint of what lies beneath, whereas blanket checks invoke a sense of coziness and warmth. The stylish yet functional down-filled jackets are evidence of Browne’s commitment to form and function. Accessories become an integral part of the story, going beyond apparel. The Hector bag, covered in a dark blue tartan, emanates a sense of tradition and elegance. It is a vessel for the modern explorer, ready to embark on new exploits both on and off the ship.
