Location Is Everything
If you are looking for a perfect location, you can’t find better than TOPAZZ LAMEE Hotel in Vienna. Situated at Rotenturmstraße 15 and across the road Lichtensteg 2, the hotel is a unification of two striking Vienna buildings, the TOPAZZ and the LAMEE, across the road from each other. We were staying in the Lamee building, where spacious suites are designed in the form of luxury apartments with a luxury hotel service. In front of you, and literally taking over your view, is the impressive St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Located on the main shopping streets in Vienna, the hotel is also a connection to any part of the city. The closest metro station is less than a few minutes walk away, while the nearest taxi station is steps away from TOPAZZ LAMEE. The hotel is easy to get to, whether you are arriving from the airport (via train-metro connection) or you are simply exploring the city.
Many of Vienna’s dazzling offer of museums and galleries are only a walking distance away. The connectivity of the location is equally as convenient for business travellers coming in and out of the city. Restaurant wise, the location itself offers truly numerous options, that said the number of restaurants to choose from around the hotel can certainly turn into an overwhelming task. Thus, depending on what you are in the mood for, consulting with the hotel’s concierge who for us had some great restaurant recommendations.

The TOPAZZ stands out with a cosmopolitan flair and innovative, eco-architecture that mirrors Vienna’s past, present, and future. LAMEE, on the other hand, with its origins in the 1930s, bursts with colour so closely placed to the city’s eternal spirit. The architecture speaks to you from within as well, where your backdrop are the unbelievable views of Vienna. With the city’s Cathedral, unbelievably farmed within your window. From our room the Cathedral view nestled into the round padded suite windows.
LAMEE’s luxurious rooms boast interiors masterfully mixing the contemporary lines with classic. The special note are the floral details, present on the carpet as well as within the design of the hotel.

Amenities and Service
The TOPAZZ LAMEE team, helpful from check-in to check-out, made sure we had a fantastic stay. Helping us find the best restaurants, but also with the direction to galleries and museums on our list. As we realized the moment we got to the hotel, the 9th floor rooftop bar is a Viennese star in its own right! The LAMÉE ROOFTOP Bar was a cherry on the cake, offering refreshing drinks (which we dearly needed with the summer in full swing) and breath-taking views of the Vienna skyline. The impressive St. Stephen’s Cathedral, seems a touch away from the hotel’s rooftop. No wonder the bar is the city’s prized yet hidden attraction.
The TOPAZZ LAMEE Hotel, with its carefully crafted design and stunning architecture, is synonymous to Vienna’s charm. Perfect for city-hopping over the summer, as well as a quick business trip to the Austrian capital.
