In the newest Winter 2023 iteration of the 8th Street collection, designer Ronnie Fieg revitalizes his enduring collaboration with Clarks Originals. This time, they breathe new life into the Lockhill and Rossendale models, and debut an entirely new design – the Rushden. Keeping true to Clarks’ heritage, every shoe sports the distinctive crepe outsole. A touch of sophistication is added with custom debossed co-branding, titled “Ronnie Fieg for Clarks Originals“, on each model.
The Lockhill, renowned for its unique color-blocking, gets a revamp in both material and color palette. The Mustard variant boasts an upper made from plush suede, whereas the Scarab steps out in a textured hairy suede. Attention to detail is evident with Clarks’ logo debossed on the frontal mudguard, the classic Lockhill insignia on the side, and co-branded hangtags.
The Rossendale has now been transformed into a mid-cut design. Consumers have a choice between two versions: the Chocolate which melds a leather upper with a snug shearling interior, and the Mustard combining a suede exterior with a leather lining. Lastly, the collection introduces the Rushden Boot. This fresh Clarks design draws inspiration from rugged military combat boots. It’s available in both leather and suede styles. Setting it apart is its uniquely twisted crepe sole and a standout feature in the form of webbed heel tabs.
