After the success of their initial capsule collection commemorating the 30th anniversary of the haute couture brand, Superga and Viktor&Rolf have joined forces once again to craft a second limited edition release. The SS24 collection combines the timeless essence of Superga® with Viktor&Rolf’s avant-garde aesthetic, incorporating some of the brand’s iconic motifs such as the couture flower, the iconic bow, and the distinctive silicone Viktor&Rolf seal adorning the exterior of the shoe. Additionally, each sole is adorned with the Viktor&Rolf logo rubber back patch, adding a touch of exclusivity to every pair.
Comprising three distinct styles, the collection offers a versatile range to suit various tastes and preferences. The iconic 2750 model is presented in two variations: one featuring a cotton canvas upper with padded satin edging, embroidered eyelets, and satin laces, accompanied by a removable maxi bow meticulously crafted from cotton. The second variant showcases a cotton canvas upper adorned with an all-over print and contrasting 3D effect bows, creating a bold and dynamic look.
Furthermore, the 2790 platform, boasting a 4-centimeter elevation, incorporates similar design elements with a cotton canvas upper adorned with padded satin edging, embroidered eyelets, and satin laces. The standout feature is the removable handmade cotton maxi bow, adding a couture touch to the platform silhouette. Lastly, the 2708 high-top, also with a 4-centimeter platform, features a cotton canvas upper with cotton edging, embroidered eyelets, and satin laces, accentuated by a handmade satin rose couture detail, elevating the classic high-top design.
