The Japanese artist and KENZO reveal their second collaboration inspired by primary colors and shared aesthetics

The collaboration between KENZO, under the creative direction of Nigo, and the celebrated Japanese visual artist VERDY, ushers in its second phase with the Spring Summer 2024 ‘Colors’ collection. Inspired by primary colors and their playful yet harmonious integration into the KENZO universe, the collection brings a fresh vibrancy to the season. Additionally, it introduces new colorways of the KENZO-PACE sneaker.

VERDY’s influence is unmistakable in the collection, drawing on his affinity for youth culture, rebellion, and nostalgia, alongside his inspirations from skateboarding, hip-hop, and manga. This collaboration plays with the East-meets-West theme that Nigo has envisioned for KENZO, making VERDY an ideal partner for this creative venture. The menswear line features classic zip-up hoodies and sweatshirts in unbrushed molleton, along with matching shorts and T-shirts in oversized and classic fits, all with the ‘KENZO PARIS’ or ‘KP’ logo by VERDY. The women’s offerings include T-shirts in vibrant colors and distinctive fits, a boxy cropped T-shirt, and a long T-shirt dress, all showcasing the collaboration’s logo.

Accessories play a crucial role in this collection, with items such as a small tote bag in deep-sea blue canvas and baseball caps available in blue with a white logo and off-white with a yellow logo. The introduction of new color schemes for the KENZO-PACE sneaker ties the collection together, which is set to be available across the entire KENZO network on April 12th, 2024.
