Louis Vuitton is once again exploring the art of travel with the launch of its Summer 2024 Flight Mode collection. This capsule includes everything from ready-to-wear and travel leather goods to shoes and accessories, all designed with luxury and practicality in mind and focused on a seamless transition between the journey and the destination.
The Flight Mode collection features a historical theme centered around the Élysée Palace motif, which includes vintage-style travel patches that pay homage to the first Parisian luxury hotel on avenue Champs-Élysées. This choice of emblem reflects Louis Vuitton’s heritage and its ongoing connection of the past with the present. The newly introduced Monogram canvas bags, like the Keepall and Side Trunk, are decorated with Élysée Palace Hotel stamps, bringing traditional aesthetics to contemporary travel needs through design details such as a lightweight resin coating.

The apparel within the Flight Mode collection is crafted for comfort and elegance in motion. It introduces stylish sportswear silhouettes that include everything from hooded capes and parkas to blousons crafted in sumptuous and technical materials. The collection is designed for versatility, featuring relaxed denim, lightweight layers, and coordinated ensembles like tracksuits and cashmere sets.
Accessory-wise, the Flight Mode collection does not disappoint. It extends into fine jewelry with items such as the LV Volt necklace in white gold and an array of jewelry that includes earrings and pendant necklaces featuring LV initials. The Dailygram bucket hat and LV Moon Metal Square sunglasses for sunny days are rounding up the accessories.
