The post-Met Gala celebration at The Standard’s Boom venue on the High Line in New York City was a spectacle, headlined by FKA Twigs. As guests entered the venue, they were transported into the 90s nostalgia, with FKA Twigs commanding the space with her presence. Her performance, characterized by soulful vocals and choreography, revealed to the attendees the tracks from her highly anticipated upcoming album. Dancing atop the bar, her spontaneity and performance created an unforgettable experience for all in attendance.
Accompanying FKA Twigs were sets by DJs MikeQ and Eli Escobar, whose beats provided the perfect setting for an impromptu vogueing session. Music and movement sparked the dance floor, with a troupe of dancers joining FKA Twigs. The Standard, High Line has long been synonymous with iconic soirées, and this year’s Met Gala after-party was no exception, as the hotel chain commemorates 25 years of hospitality.
Among the guest list were people from fashion, music, and entertainment, including Jeff Bezos, Camila Cabello, and Lil Nas X.
