At this seasons Paris Fashion Week, A$AP Rocky presented his latest AWGE collection at the prestigious Hotel de Maison. The collection, a mix of streetwear and high fashion, also showed a mix of newly released and forthcoming footwear and accessories from the A$AP Rocky x PUMA line, the rapper’s collaborative line with the sportswear giant.
Among the highlights were the re-issued OG Inhale shoes, originally launched in 2000, now making a comeback in a summer melon-high risk red colorway. This re-issue had debuted in May and was brought back for the AWGE runway, capturing attention with its bold hues and vintage look. Rocky, known for his keen eye and personal involvement in his collaborations, hand-picked these designs from the PUMA Archive. The fall collection promises even more from the Inhale lineup, featuring custom embroidery, distressed hand-buffed touches on the uppers and midsoles, and frayed edges on each piece.
Also present on the runway was the classic PUMA Speedcat in both black and red variants. This shoe is a nod to PUMA’s racing heritage, offering a sleek, performance-ready look that’s available for purchase. PUMA Mostro and its latest iteration, the Mostro 3.D, returned, first appearing during The Amazing Mostro Show at New York Fashion Week in February. The Mostro, with its unconventional silhouette, has been a unique design since its inception in 1999. The 3.D version represents PUMA’s first ever fully 3.D printed footwear. This model, along with the perforated black and white Mostro, also has a signature spiked sole.
The launch dates for these exciting designs are set, with the black and white Mostro slated for release on July 13, and select styles of the Inhale and Mostro 3.D expected in September. Take a closer look at the A$AP Rocky x PUMA line at the AWGE Show in the Gallery below:
