New Balance‘s Made in USA Fall Winter Collection for 2024 presents a curated lineup of footwear and apparel that follows the season’s earthy and neutral tones. Launched globally on August 15, this collection is structured into seven distinct drops, each bringing a unique color palette and design to their footwear lineup.

The first drop introduces a refined exploration of New Balance’s signature grey tones. The 993 and 990v6 silhouettes are at the center of this release, showcasing a blend of greys—ranging from the dark, moody ‘castlerock’ to the lighter, airy ‘moonrock.’ The 993 pairs the shadowy grey with a subtle ‘driftwood’ brown, while the 990v6 offers a fresh perspective with a crisp white midsole, creating a clean and dynamic look. Additionally, the first drop expands its offerings with apparel in rich, seasonal hues like ‘spruce’ and ‘deep plum.’

As the collection progresses, the second drop shifts focus to nature-inspired shades. The 993 and 990v6 return in earthy palettes, featuring colors such as ‘mushroom’ brown, ‘midnight violet,’ and ‘olive leaf.’ These tones reference the rich, organic elements of the fall season, while the silhouettes themselves remain true to New Balance’s emphasis on comfort and craftsmanship. The introduction of sherpa fleece and other core apparel pieces in this drop adds layers of warmth and texture.

The third drop, labeled as a Quick Strike, offers a more exclusive release with the 990v4 in a ‘macadamia nut’ tonal concept. This drop stands out with its tumbled leather accents, providing a luxurious feel that complements the collection’s overall aesthetic. The selection of apparel in this drop is focused on new outdoor and utility-inspired silhouettes.

In the fourth drop, the 990v6 silhouette is reimagined with ‘dark ember’ suede overlays, bringing a sense of warmth and depth to the collection. This release also marks the introduction of new Made Fall Winter Collection apparel, which features lived-in, wash-treated pieces that offer a rugged look. The combination of ‘dark olivine’ and ‘dark olive grey’ in the apparel pieces follows the footwear’s aesthetic.

The fifth drop, another Quick Strike, highlights the 997 silhouette in a ‘vintage teal’ colorway, marking its debut in the Made in USA Seasonal Collection. As the collection nears its conclusion, the sixth drop introduces the 998 silhouette in two new colorways: classic navy and a neutral sandstone. These choices continue the collection’s theme of combining classic color palettes with premium materials like suede, mesh, and hairy suede. The seventh and final drop in the closes the New Balance Made in USA Fall Winter 24 Collection with a luxurious take on the 997, featuring a neutral palette of ‘moonrock’ grey and ‘driftwood’ brown.
