The Dolce & Gabbana Women’s Spring Summer 2025 Collection redefines Italian beauty, by blending timeless allure with bold, contemporary elements. The collection draws inspiration from the iconic divas of Italian cinema, offering a modern reinterpretation of sensuality and power. This season, Dolce & Gabbana’s sartorial choices echo a confident femininity, with every detail curated to embody the essence of the Italian woman: unapologetic, dynamic, and seductive.

The garments in this collection are engineered to enhance the female form with anatomical precision. From the sculptural cuts of tailored jackets to the alluring lines of corsetry, each piece emphasizes natural curves. The collection integrates fabrics such as duchesse, crepe, tulle, and lace, creating a textural symphony that evokes both strength and delicacy. The use of corset details and enhanced bras showcases a celebration of sensuality, while cone bras, strings, laces, and hooks symbolize a play on traditional Italian seduction, marking a bold statement in body-centric design.

Central to the collection is the reinterpretation of the bra, inspired by the 1950s but transformed for the modern era. Paired with sheer lingerie, trench coats, and corsets, the bra becomes a key piece, shifting from an undergarment to a visible symbol of confidence. The layering of transparency and structure in the designs reflects an interplay between modesty and exhibitionism, capturing the spirit of a woman unafraid to assert her identity.

“Madonna has always been our icon. It’s thanks to her that a lot of things in our lives changed.” – Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana

Eveningwear in this collection radiates with sophistication, as fluid silhouettes glide gracefully through satin, chiffon, and sequined fabrics. These shimmering textiles imbue the collection with movement and light, while tulle and crepe add a delicate, ethereal quality. Crystal fringes, a standout detail, provide dynamic energy, ensuring that each garment commands attention. These evening looks offer a vision of elegance that feels both timeless and relevant, merging the grandeur of classic haute couture with a modern edge.

Large cross earrings, adorned with black crystals, offer a striking contrast against the refined femininity of the garments. These statement pieces, along with oversized beauty cases, nod to the glamour of the pin-up era, grounding the collection in retro influences while simultaneously pushing boundaries. Iconic handbags, such as the Sicily and Marlene bags, are reimagined with luxurious updates, including decorative locks and soft, supple leathers.

The collection’s palette of black, nude, red, and white is enriched by floral prints, a subtle homage to the Dolce & Gabbana archives. These prints infuse the pieces with a romantic quality, balancing the bold architectural tailoring with soft, feminine touches. The use of these signature colors grounds the collection in the brand’s heritage while allowing for fresh interpretations that feel unmistakably modern.

Beyond the runway, the set design at the Metropol served as an extension of the collection’s thematic elements. A grand, sinuous staircase and mirrored surfaces created a dreamlike environment that amplified the show’s visual impact. The play of light and reflections highlighted the sensual movement of the garments, further enhancing the collection’s focus on form and fluidity.

Among the front row attendees were Madonna, Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Luigi & Iango, Mert Alas, Michele Morrone, Choi San, and Mun Ka Young.
