The highly anticipated Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG Medium Olive is the latest collaboration between the iconic rapper and Jordan line. Known for his creative flair and unique sneaker designs, Travis Scott continues to push boundaries with each new release. The “Medium Olive” edition brings a fresh, fall-ready look, showcasing the perfect blend of earthy tones and signature details that have come to define Scott’s partnership with Nike.

Let’s explore the unique design, performance, and the ongoing success of Travis Scott’s collaborations with Air Jordan.

Unique Design and Signature Elements

The Travis Scott Reverse Olive Medium Olive sneaker combines olive suede with Sail leather overlays, creating a clean yet bold contrast that enhances the shoe’s overall look. One of the defining features is the black reverse Swoosh on the lateral side, a design hallmark that has become synonymous with Travis Scott’s collaborations with Air Jordan. Meanwhile, a regular black Swoosh adorns the medial side, balancing the shoe’s boldness with classic elements.

Red accents appear on the tongue’s Nike Air logo and on the mismatched Cactus Jack and Jordan Wings logos on the heel, adding a sharp pop of color. Additionally, co-branded insoles emphasize the collaboration, and extra laces in black and pink allow wearers to customize their look.

Performance and Comfort

As with previous Travis Scott x Jordan collaborations, the Reverse Olive Jordan 1s excel in both style and performance. The foam midsole ensures comfort for daily wear, while the olive rubber outsole provides traction and durability. These sneakers aren’t just for show – they’re designed to be functional and long-lasting, making them suitable for everyday use.

The pre-aged midsole adds a vintage feel to the shoe without compromising on modern comfort, combining classic aesthetics with contemporary sneaker technology.

Look Back: Travis Scott and Air Jordan Collaborations

Travis Scott’s partnership with Jordan line has redefined sneaker culture since its inception in 2017. The first major release, the Air Jordan 4 “Cactus Jack”, showcased Scott’s creative approach, featuring vibrant colors and unique branding elements. However, it was the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Mocha” in 2018 that truly set the standard for his collaborations. The reverse Swoosh, which debuted on the Mocha, became a defining feature of his work with Jordan line.

Over the years, Scott has worked on multiple Air Jordan models, including the Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 4, but the Air Jordan 1 has remained the most iconic. Releases like the Fragment x Travis Scott Jordan 1 and the Reverse Mocha have only fueled the hype around Scott’s collaboration with Jordan line, making each new drop a highly anticipated event. The Medium Olive Jordan 1s continue this trend, offering another iconic addition to the collection.

Why the Medium Olive Stands Out

The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Medium Olive” is perfectly timed for the fall season. The combination of olive green suede and Sail leather offers a neutral yet eye-catching palette that fits easily into any wardrobe. The olive outsole and vintage midsole tie the whole look together, making this release a stylish yet practical option for the cooler months.

SNEAKERS

Scott’s attention to detail and use of earthy tones has become a signature part of his design language, and the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Medium Olive” continue that tradition. The result is a shoe that feels both modern and timeless, offering a fresh twist on a classic silhouette.

Key Features That Set the Medium Olive Apart

What makes the Travis Scott Olive shoes stand out are the unique elements that fans have come to expect from Scott’s collaborations. The reverse Swoosh, mismatched heel logos, and co-branded insoles elevate this release beyond standard Air Jordan 1s. The attention to detail, from the extra laces to the special-edition packaging, adds to the shoe’s allure and makes it a must-have for collectors.

These sneakers embody the innovative and forward-thinking design that has come to define the Travis Scott x Air Jordan line, ensuring that the Medium Olive Jordan 1s will be highly coveted upon release.

Release Date and Pricing

The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Medium Olive” will be released on September 28, 2024, through select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike’s SNKRS app. Priced at $150 for adult sizes, the collection also includes sizes for kids and toddlers, making this a full-family release. As with all of Scott’s previous collaborations, the sneakers are expected to sell out quickly, so fans will need to act fast.
