Following a summer filled with exciting Air Jordan and Jordan basketball shoes releases, including a standout collaboration with A Ma Maniére, the newest addition to the AJ39 lineup arrives in two clean black and white colorways: “Croix” and “Barons.”
The “Croix” colorway brings a modern twist to the Air Jordan aesthetic, pairing a white base with black overlays on the toe and lacing system for the Jordan 39. A hint of “Dark Powder Blue” adds a subtle pop of color to the Jumpman logo on the tongue, breaking up the monochrome look with a touch of flair. Meanwhile, the “Barons” colorway pays homage to Michael Jordan’s time with the Birmingham Barons baseball team, a nod fans will recognize from previous releases like the AJ1 and AJ9 “Barons” editions. This design features a sleek black base with white accents, evoking a sense of classic, understated style.
While Jordan Brand has yet to announce the official release date for the “Croix” and “Barons” Air Jordan 39, both are anticipated to land on shelves by year’s end, retailing at $200 USD per pair for the 39th iteration. Stay tuned for updates on Nike SNKRS and select retailers as we approach the release of these fresh colorways that honor both MJ’s storied legacy and the future of performance-driven design.
