To kick off 2025, adidas is releasing Anthony Edwards‘ signature AE1 Low in a sleek white colorway called Stormtrooper. Drawing inspiration from the early-2000s adidas Crazy 1 Stormtrooper, this updated basketball shoe brings a fresh, minimalist design to the court.

The AE1 Low Stormtrooper features a black textile upper contrasted by a titanium-white lower half, creating a sculptural silhouette. The white midsole transitions smoothly into perforated uppers, echoing the clean lines of the iconic armor worn by Star Wars Stormtroopers.

A reflective feature on the toe box catches light, adding a futuristic touch to the otherwise understated aesthetic. Red accents appear on the adidas logo at the heel and on the outsole, breaking up the monochromatic palette and offering a dynamic visual element.

This release follows the recent AE1 Metallic Grey, which also featured a refined design with neutral tones. The Stormtrooper iteration continues that trend, presenting a versatile colorway that works on and off the court. Its clean lines and innovative details reflect adidas’ ability to balance performance and style.
The adidas AE1 Low Stormtrooper is scheduled to drop on February 1, 2025. Priced at $110 USD, it will be available through the adidas website and select retailers. Stay tuned for its highly anticipated launch.
