Celebrate the season with Balenciaga’s ready-to-wear New Year styles

Balenciaga unveils its New Year series, offering a fresh take on seasonal traditions through the lens of fashion. Directed by Lucca Lutzky, the campaign stars actress Zhang Xiaofei, actress and singer Yang Chaoyue, and model Bing Bing Liu. The series highlights New Year-inspired pieces alongside select designs from the Spring 2025 collection, creating a dynamic representation of contemporary style for the festive season.

HOLIDAY SEASON

Set in relaxed home environments, the videos capture intimate moments as the stars prepare for New Year celebrations. Reflected in mirrors, these scenes evoke a sense of personal connection, while heartfelt voiceovers reveal the stars’ reflections on good fortune and cherished New Year customs.

The collection introduces new ready-to-wear styles, including hooded denim and flannel jackets, a leather taxi jacket, and cozy hoodies, sweatpants, and t-shirts. Each piece is marked by a patched monogram Balenciaga logo with a washed, frayed finish, adding a tactile and distinctive detail. The understated yet striking aesthetic reflects the brand’s commitment to crafting designs that feel modern and authentic.
