The designs presented were a stark departure from traditional femininity, embracing a more armored aesthetic that symbolized the shedding of restrictive societal norms. Heavy hides and rigid corsetry, staples in the wardrobes of the corporate patriarchy, were reimagined into garments that spoke of strength and defiance. The collection’s use of sulphurous hues and materials like snakeskin suggested a molting process, as if the wearers were shedding old skins for new possibilities.
