Aston Martin Palm Beach and Q by Aston Martin have introduced a custom-built DB12 Volante that connects the brand’s craftsmanship with a design narrative rooted in Palm Beach. Built as a one-off commission, the model presents a detailed approach to materials, color, and finishing, all drawn from the car’s coastal origin.

The vehicle features a Frosted Glass Blue exterior, developed exclusively for this model. The finish includes glass flakes within the topcoat, creating a distinctive shimmer that evokes the reflection of the South Florida sun. The paint application requires hand spraying to achieve its textured visual depth. A Club Sport White pinstripe adds contrast, applied along the front splitters, side sills, and rear bumpers. The result accentuates the DB12 Volante’s athletic position on the road. Gloss Jet Black diamond-turned five-spoke wheels complete the exterior, pairing performance with visual intent.

Inside the open-top cabin, the DB12 Volante continues the Palm Beach reference through duotone colorways and bespoke detailing. Aurora Blue and Ivory leather define the interior, with Spicy Red stitching threading through each element. Palm-leaf embroidery decorates the seats, armrest, and sill panels, while polished aluminum sill plaques carry the same motif. The aluminum side strakes on the car’s body also mirror the palm design, connecting the visual language across both interior and exterior.

Q by Aston Martin selected Linear Light Olive Ash open-pore wood for the trim, applying book-matching to maintain visual consistency across surfaces. The wood grain draws inspiration from palm textures, reinforcing the theme without resorting to imitation. The dashboard features Palm Beach’s geographic coordinates embossed in leather, adding location-specific detail without unnecessary embellishment. On the rear of the front seats, diagonally book-matched veneers and engraved metal inlays reference Palm Beach again, marking the commission with precision.
Aston Martin fitted the DB12 Volante with a set of Gloss Jet Black Diamond Turned Vantage wheels. This configuration offers a more aggressive road presence while aligning with the vehicle’s open-air performance ambitions.

Pedro Mota, Regional President of Aston Martin The Americas, framed the project as a collaborative result between the brand’s regional partner and its in-house customization team. “This extraordinary DB12 Volante model perfectly encapsulates the understated elegance of both Palm Beach and Aston Martin,” he said. Mota emphasized the partnership between Q by Aston Martin and Aston Martin Palm Beach, noting the balance of performance, design, and personalization the commission represents.
The Palm Beach Edition joins a growing portfolio of custom commissions by Q by Aston Martin.
