The Air Jordan 4 returns this September in a fresh Cave Stone colorway, arriving on Saturday, September 6, 2025, through Nike SNKRS and select retailers. The release carries style code FV5029-200 and an official color palette of Cave Stone, Black, and Moon Particle.
This edition features a smooth nubuck upper dressed in a deep taupe tone, providing a refined base for the model’s signature design lines. Black accents appear on the quarter panel netting, molded eyelets, and padded textile collar lining, creating sharp contrast against the muted primary shade. On the tongue, a woven Flight label showcases the Jumpman emblem, while the molded heel tab switches to the Nike Air logo – a detail that recalls the original late-1980s releases.

Underfoot, a white and black polyurethane midsole houses visible Air cushioning in the heel, a hallmark of the Air Jordan 4’s performance heritage. The outsole continues the two-tone treatment, balancing durability with a design that complements the upper’s color blocking. Support wings, structural eyestays, and the molded heel counter preserve the model’s iconic profile while maintaining stability.
The nubuck overlays carry a fine, even texture, set against tight black mesh within the forefoot and quarter cages. The padded collar delivers comfort, while the glossy heel tab and matte body create a subtle play of finishes.

The Cave Stone colorway offers a versatile, neutral scheme that adapts easily to different styles, making it a strong option for both collectors and everyday wearers. With period-correct branding, premium materials, and the Air Jordan 4’s instantly recognizable silhouette, this release aligns with the model’s reputation for combining performance engineering with off-court appeal.
Set for a wide launch on September 6, the Air Jordan 4 Cave Stone will retail at $215. Pairs will be available through Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers.

Several other Air Jordan models are scheduled to release throughout September following the Cave Stone edition. On September 9, the women’s Air Jordan 1 High OG “Baroque Brown” delivers an earthy palette on the iconic silhouette. The Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red” returns on September 13 featuring a black tongue update. September 20 brings two Air Jordan 1 Low OG releases, including a Travis Scott x Fragment collaboration and a Storm Blue edition. The month closes on September 27 with the Air Jordan 5 “Tokyo,” finished in a bold yellow with multicolor detailing.
