LOEWE has introduced its Fall Winter 2025 collection as a scrapbook of ideas shaped by artisanal craft and visual art. For this season, the brand collaborated with the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation to create clothing and accessories inspired by Josef’s Homage to the Square paintings and Anni’s pictorial weavings. Their approach to color and texture guided the collection’s surfaces, turning thread and shape into design elements that carry forward their artistic exploration.
Arnaud Lajeunie photographed the accompanying campaign, translating the collection into portraiture while spotlighting LOEWE’s creative community. The campaign features a diverse cast whose artistic sensibilities frame the clothes through individual character. Brand ambassador and actor Jiang Qiming appears alongside Lesley Manville, Felix Kammerer, and Raffey Cassidy.

Textures and construction play central roles in this campaign. Albers-inspired coats and accessories draw attention through surface treatments and materiality. LOEWE’s signature bags, the Puzzle, Madrid, Flamenco, and Amazona, anchor the FW25 collection, accompanied by smaller leather goods that extend the emphasis on craftsmanship. The Collage and Shield Mask sunglasses add a defined edge to the styling, while footwear introductions such as the Toy mules, Comic sandal, and Ballet runner showcase detailed construction and form.

In keeping with the Albers Foundation collaboration, LOEWE has committed to supporting Les Foyers de Tambacounda, a women’s community center in Senegal founded with the Foundation and the non-profit Le Korsa. The donation will support three initiatives: the expansion of Sutura, a local sewing collective; an art program at the Foyer led by a professor from L’École des Beaux-Arts de Dakar; and The Tire Recycling Project. Through these initiatives, LOEWE links the creative process of the collection to direct community support.

The campaign also marks the final collection under former LOEWE creative director Jonathan Anderson. His tenure leaves behind a body of work deeply engaged with craftsmanship, material exploration, and artistic collaboration, qualities reflected in this closing chapter. By drawing on the Albers legacy and combining it with contemporary design, the FW25 collection positions itself as a continuation of the dialogue between art and craft.

The campaign’s cast reinforces this connection between creative talent and LOEWE’s identity. Raffey Cassidy, acclaimed for roles in Vox Lux, The Other Lamb, and White Noise, recently won a Golden Globe with the film The Brutalist. Felix Kammerer, who earned recognition with All Quiet on the Western Front, will next appear in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein and Ron Howard’s Eden. Lesley Manville, celebrated for her work in Phantom Thread, The Crown, and numerous stage roles, remains one of Britain’s most accomplished actors. Jiang Qiming, who recently received the Best Supporting Actor award at the Magnolia Awards, continues to expand his career in film and television.
