Reebok and Icecream announce the return of the Icecream Watermelon Board Flip by Reebok. The re-release arrives nearly twenty years after the original debut, making its 2025 premiere at ComplexCon Las Vegas. With only 500 pairs available worldwide, the release brings back a vivid design that shaped Icecream’s influence on skate-inspired footwear.
Don Toliver partners with Reebok and Icecream for the drop, giving new energy to the shoe thatwas part of early 2000s sneaker culture. “The Reebok and Icecream Board Flip drop connects eras,” said Toliver. “It’s paying homage to P and that whole time period which is part of my childhood. I wanted to bring that feeling into today, to honor what built sneaker culture and give the next generation something fresh to make their own. I really pushed to bring this one back.”

The 2025 edition features a vibrant green base paired with pink overlays, echoing the look of watermelon rind and flesh. This color pairing delivers a visual punch consistent with Icecream’s signature playfulness. The shoe’s design maintains the brand’s sense of humor and creative irreverence, while its structure stays true to the functional skate foundation that defined the original model.
Crafted from smooth leather and nubuck, the upper integrates perforated panels that add ventilation and texture. A durable rubber outsole ensures grip suited to skate performance, and the cushioned collar and tongue provide comfort without excess bulk.

Founded in 2004 by NIGO® and Pharrell Williams as an offshoot of Billionaire Boys Club, Icecream introduced a colorful, graphic-driven approach to skate style. The brand became known for its playful motifs, bold prints, and collaborations that linked skate culture with street fashion. The original 2005 Board Flip marked Icecream’s first collaboration with Reebok, connecting Pharrell and NIGO®’s creative ideas to both scenes. Its distinctive look established it as a recognizable design within that period’s sneaker community.

Worn by Pharrell, NIGO®, and members of the Icecream Skate team including Jimmy Gorecki, the Board Flip became one of the brand’s signature sneakers. The limited drop of the Icecream Watermelon Board Flip by Reebok will release exclusively at ComplexCon Las Vegas on October 25–26, 2025.
