PUBLIC SERV-CE presented its Fall Winter 2026 collection, titled Dark Matter, in Tribeca on Friday afternoon, marking the house’s official entry onto the CFDA calendar. Creative Director Raphael Young approached the season as a focused study in black. He treated black as method, using it to sharpen construction and form. The collection relied on tailoring, defined volume, and sculpted outerwear. Young engineered garments to absorb and refract light, directing attention toward cut and structure. The setting reinforced that emphasis, allowing proportion and surface to define the experience.

Young built the collection around tailoring that asserted control. Jackets and coats carried sculptural weight, while silhouettes framed the body through disciplined shaping. He concentrated on fabrication and construction. Black served as a unifying framework, heightening the interaction between light and textile. The result centered on material clarity and architectural form.

Sound operated as an equal partner to the clothes. PUBLIC SERV-CE collaborated with Grammy Award–winning artist KayCyy, who created an original composition for the runway. The track gave the show a steady, immersive pulse. A live violin performance by Jeremy Green introduced a sharp, cinematic counterpoint. Together, the sound elements structured the rhythm of the presentation and reinforced the controlled atmosphere Young established through tailoring.

Casting reflected Young’s ongoing interest in who inhabits the clothes. NFL players Terrion Arnold, Miles Sanders, Khadarel Hodge, and Joshua Kaindoh walked the runway alongside music artists Lekan, BDifferent, and DC The Don. Their presence aligned with the brand’s view that contemporary tailoring belongs to athletes and musicians as readily as to traditional fashion figures.

Later that evening, the event extended downtown to (SUB)MERCER for the official after party. JNR Choi curated the DJ lineup, which included sets by Little Fax The Machine, Michael Simpson, and Benny, followed by KayCyy and a live performance from BDifferent. Rotimi, Jay Critch, Luck, DC The Don, the NFL players from the runway, and members of the broader PUBLIC SERV-CE community gathered in the subterranean lounge. The after-hours environment shifted the tone from the runway to a looser, music-driven setting.
