Adidas and Pharrell Williams’ Humanrace present the Adizero EVO SL in a new colorway titled Mars, accompanied by a coordinated apparel release that includes a track jacket and shorts. The project continues the partnership between adidas and Humanrace and presents footwear and clothing designed for everyday running and outdoor activity. The release connects performance footwear with apparel developed for training environments.

The Adizero EVO SL draws design reference from the elite running DNA of the Adios Pro EVO 1. adidas developed this version for runners who seek footwear designed for speed while maintaining comfort during daily training. The shoe uses full-length LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam underfoot, creating a high-stack platform designed to deliver a smooth and dynamic ride. The construction avoids stiffening elements and allows the foam structure to drive propulsion during runs.

Engineers built the upper using engineered mesh that provides targeted support through specific zones of the shoe. This design allows increased breathability in areas that benefit from airflow during physical activity. The mesh structure also supports stability during longer runs and repeated training sessions. These construction choices align the shoe with everyday runners who train regularly and require technical performance from their footwear.

The Mars colorway draws inspiration from the dusty surface of the red planet. adidas and Humanrace translate that reference through the palette applied to the shoe and apparel pieces included in the release. Campaign photography took place in Painted Hills, Oregon, a landscape known for layered mineral formations that resemble extraterrestrial terrain. The imagery follows a runner navigating this rugged environment and presents running as a daily practice connected to wellness and mindfulness.

Alongside the sneaker, adidas and Humanrace introduce the Mars apparel set consisting of a matching track jacket and running shorts. The shorts feature a loose fit with a mid-thigh length and breathable construction suited for outdoor activity. The jacket presents a slightly more fitted structure compared with a traditional track jacket while maintaining space for physical activity. Design include an adjustable bottom hem and lightweight material to support comfort during runs.

The Mars pack includes the Humanrace Adizero EVO SL sneaker by Pharrell Williams priced at $160, the track jacket priced at $120, and the shorts priced at $70. adidas will release the collection on March 21 through select adidas retailers and through adidas.com.
