DSCENE Magazine reveals musician Filarri as the first cover star of its Design Under Pressure issue. Photographed in Belgrade by Luka Stepanovic and styled by Manda Javorina, the cover introduces a story shaped by music, emotional exposure, and the pressure that follows public visibility. On the cover, Filarri wears a full Hugo look, setting a direct visual tone for the issue’s first release. Design Under Pressure examines the forces shaping contemporary culture through fashion, music, design, architecture, art, and public life. The issue looks at pressure as a creative condition, tracing how artists, designers, and cultural figures respond to expectation, speed, visibility, and control. With Filarri on the first cover, DSCENE opens the issue through a story grounded in vulnerability, authorship, and the need to protect creative space.
At the center of the conversation stands Od krvi i mesa, Filarri’s debut album, which he describes as a complete work rather than a collection of separate tracks. The record moves through eight songs and an interlude, holding a specific emotional period in place through sound. “I wanted to be honest to the core, to fully strip myself down emotionally, and to allow the audience to truly get to know me by listening to the album from beginning to end,” he says in the interview.
Filarri also speaks about the pressure surrounding masculinity, social media, and public performance. Music remains the space where he feels most connected to himself, while visibility demands a different kind of control. In discussing the making of Od krvi i mesa, he explains that the album followed instinct and trust: “We worked only according to what we felt and how we saw that entire world without compromise.”

As the first release from Design Under Pressure, Filarri’s cover sets the tone for an issue focused on artists working through intensity, expectation, and transformation.
