IRO presented its Pre-Spring 2027 collection, during Paris Men’s Fashion Week. The House introduced the season through a showroom format, placing the focus on a wardrobe built for daily movement, confidence, and a distinctly urban point of view. For Pre-Spring 2027, IRO works with the codes that define its identity. The collection brings instinctive elegance into contact with the direct attitude of city dressing.
RESORT 2027
The season looks to the 1970s and 1980s, then filters those references through a modern Parisian wardrobe. Graphic polka dots bring rhythm to the silhouettes. Memphis-inspired embroideries add visual energy. Subtle rock influences give the collection a sharper edge, without overpowering its clean structure.
The collection also draws from the radical optimism of 1980s Italian design. During that period, geometric forms, strong visual contrasts, and the decorative force of the Memphis Group changed the language of modernism. IRO channels that energy through pattern, surface, and shape.
A more refined reference also enters the season through the work of Andrée Putman. Her sense of graphic order appears through clean lines, subtle visual rhythms, and precise material combinations. IRO uses that influence to temper the stronger Memphis mood.
Strong shoulders, elongated proportions, and menswear-inspired construction create a sharp frame for the body. Softer, more sensual silhouettes bring movement and a closer relationship to the skin. Lace, leather, tailoring, heels, bags, and sunglasses appear throughout the collection as parts of a lived wardrobe.
