Kith and Nike Introduce the Linen Collection Across Two Icons

The collection updates the Air Force 1 with an inverted Linen palette and introduces the colorway on the Air Max 95 for the first time.

Kith and Nike return with the Linen Collection, a family-sized footwear release built around one of Nike’s most recognized colorways. The partnership brings the Linen palette back to the Air Force 1, where it first appeared, and applies it to the Air Max 95 for the first time. Both models arrive in adult, grade school, preschool and toddler sizing.

Nike first released the Linen Air Force 1 as a regional exclusive in Japan in 2001. Its limited availability helped the design gain a strong following among collectors during the years that followed. Kith later worked with Nike to revive the colorway in 2016, marking the opening of the retailer’s Miami flagship. That release established a direct connection between Kith and the Linen palette and now provides the starting point for the latest collection.

For the new Air Force 1, Kith and Nike reverse the original color arrangement. Atmosphere pink covers most of the upper, giving the shoe a softer and brighter appearance. Premium nubuck forms the main construction, while Linen brown leather shapes the Swooshes on the side panels. The same brown tone appears across the outsole and creates a clear link to the 2001 edition.

A white midsole separates the pink upper from the brown outsole. Kith and Nike complete the design with collaborative Swoosh logos embroidered onto the heel tabs. The combination keeps the familiar Air Force 1 structure intact while shifting the Linen palette toward a pink-led finish.

The Air Max 95 takes a different approach. Kith and Nike use premium Linen brown leather across the layered upper, bringing the colorway to the model through a darker and more uniform treatment. Reflective heel counters and lace locks add further detail. Adult and grade school pairs also carry an embossed Kith logo on the medial side.

The two models offer separate interpretations of the same palette. The Air Force 1 places Atmosphere pink at the center of its design and uses Linen brown for contrast. The Air Max 95 gives Linen brown the leading role across its layered construction and adds reflective components around the heel and lacing system.

Kith and Nike extend both silhouettes across the full family size range. Adult, grade school, preschool and toddler editions allow the collection to reach wearers of different ages. The brands give the children’s releases an additional limited-edition detail. They assign each pair an individual number and cap production at 1,982 pairs worldwide for every children’s style. The number references 1982, the birth year of Kith founder, chief executive officer and creative director Ronnie Fieg.

The Linen Collection continues the connection that Kith and Nike established around the colorway in 2016. Through two familiar Nike models, the collection revisits the Air Force 1’s link to the original Linen design and introduces the palette to the Air Max 95 in premium leather.
