The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode has released the preliminary Paris Fashion Week calendar for the Spring Summer 2027 women’s ready-to-wear season. The program runs from September 28 to October 6 and includes 101 labels across 68 runway shows and 33 presentations. The previous Spring Summer season featured 74 shows and 37 presentations during an unusually busy period of creative director debuts.

PARIS FASHION WEEK

This season introduces two new appointments on the runway. Drew Henry will present his first collection for Courrèges, while Kai Nesselrath will make his debut at Carven. Their appointments bring the main creative changes to a season that follows the extensive designer reshuffling seen across the previous calendar.

Several houses return after showing elsewhere or stepping away from Paris. Maison Margiela rejoins the women’s ready-to-wear calendar after Glenn Martens presented the house’s previous collection in Shanghai. Valentino also returns after Alessandro Michele showed the Fall 2026 collection at Palazzo Barberini in Rome.

Sacai rejoins the calendar after Chitose Abe presented during Paris menswear week. Casablanca, Christopher Esber and Ester Manas also return to the official program. Ester Manas used its break to consolidate its supply chain. Léonard Paris, Xuly Bët and Didu return through presentations.

Maxhosa Africa joins the official runway calendar for the first time. Designer Laduma Ngxokolo founded the South African label, which has gained international attention through its textile work and geometric patterns inspired by Xhosa culture.

The presentation calendar welcomes Alexandra Golovanoff and Fidan Novruzova. Golovanoff launched her eponymous cashmere label in 2016 before expanding it into a complete wardrobe. Novruzova graduated from Central Saint Martins and draws on her Azerbaijani roots and Moldovan upbringing. The LVMH Prize selected her as a semi-finalist in 2024.

Major houses remain central to the program. Dior, Saint Laurent, Tom Ford, Balenciaga, Loewe, Celine, Hermès, Miu Miu, Chanel and Louis Vuitton all feature on the official calendar.

Alaïa will present a collection designed by its studio. The house has yet to appoint a new creative director following Pieter Mulier’s move to Versace earlier this year.

Several familiar names will miss the Paris schedule. McQueen moves to London Fashion Week under Seán McGirr. Rabanne will wait until March for Olivier Rousteing’s debut. Nina Ricci sits out the season after Harris Reed stepped down in March 2026. Off-White, Enfants Riches Déprimés and Thom Browne will also skip Paris. Marine Serre, Coperni and Giambattista Valli have withdrawn from the session as they adjust the timing of their presentations around private showroom sales and revised commercial calendars.

FHCM will operate the Sphere showroom at Palais de Tokyo during Paris Fashion Week. Meruert Tolegen and Victoria Valette join J.Simone, Riz Poli, Sevali, Vautrait and Weinsanto. Act N°1 will also participate through FHCM’s partnership with the Italian Fashion Chamber.
