Reebok is introducing the Nano Gym 2.0 as its latest all-purpose gym shoe, built for athletes who switch between fitness classes, strength work and high intensity training. The new model continues the brand’s award-winning Nano franchise with a lighter fit, responsive cushioning and a streamlined upper designed for varied workout routines.

The Nano Gym 2.0 focuses on one clear need: a gym shoe that can handle different types of training in one weekly routine. Reebok created the model for athletes who take boutique fitness classes, train in the gym, and rely on one shoe for sessions that require agility, support, grip, and comfort. The result gives the Nano line a gym-specific update with a lighter feel and a sharper fit.

Reebok builds the shoe around FLOATPULSE ULTRA RESPONSIVE FOAM in the midsole. The brand describes the material as a lightweight, high-rebound foam that supports explosive energy return through every rep. This feature gives the Nano Gym 2.0 its main performance update and helps the shoe respond during strength work, fast drills, and high intensity training.
The upper keeps the design streamlined. Reebok uses engineered mesh to create a lightweight and durable structure, with built-in breathability zones that help during longer sessions. The upper supports ventilation, comfort, and security, while the reduced bulk gives the shoe an agile feel.

The outsole supports gym training with a full rubber base for grip. Reebok adds flex grooves in key areas to give athletes flexibility where they need it most. This construction helps the Nano Gym 2.0 handle different exercises, from class-based training to demanding gym work.
A performance comfort collar gives the shoe added lock-in during high intensity workouts. The Nano Gym 2.0 also has an 8mm drop and weighs 9.0 oz, keeping the model in a lightweight training category while maintaining support for intense sessions.

Tal Short, Product Director at Reebok, describes the Nano Gym 2.0 as the brand’s most versatile gym shoe yet. Short connects the release to Reebok’s goal of creating products that support athletes through their full training routines.
The Nano Gym 2.0 launches July 16 on Reebok.com with a $100 MSRP. Reebok will offer the shoe in a variety of unisex and women’s launch colorways, with additional colorways arriving throughout the season. Product availability and launch timing vary by market.
