George Trochopoulos Spring Summer 2027 considers how earlier generations imagined the future and compares those expectations with the present. The collection returns to mid-20th-century retrofuturism, when visions of flying cars, smart closets and vivid technicolor shaped ideas about technological and social progress.
SPRING SUMMER 2027
The distance between those expectations and contemporary reality led Trochopoulos to study designers from the period. Their work introduced an expansive approach to invention that encouraged him to reconsider his own beginnings. He also returned to memories of making and selling clothes after completing his studies in London, asking what his younger self expected from the years ahead.

That reflection gives Spring Summer 2027 a personal dimension. Trochopoulos describes the collection as an homage to the first customers who bought the striped dresses he created at university and gave him confidence in the possibilities of his work. He revisits silhouettes, ideas and visual codes from previous collections, refining them as he closes the first chapter of the brand.
Color gives the season much of its energy. Lime green, racecar red and melon yellow appear in vivid combinations designed to demand attention. Knitwear dominates almost the entire collection. A pair of reworked Trochopoulos jeans provides one exception, styled with draped jersey tops featuring floral prints drawn by the designer.
Trochopoulos also expands his idea of everyday knitwear. Knit bikinis appear beneath sheer coverups with deep scooped shapes and extended proportions. The neck becomes an important area of experimentation. Striped mini dresses, bodysuits and close-fitting dresses feature collars that shift between asymmetric and funnel shapes, changing how each garment frames the body.

The bubble skirt introduced for Spring Summer 2026 develops into a petal skirt this season. Trochopoulos designed the revised shape to give the wearer greater fluidity and freedom of motion. The change reflects the broader process behind the collection, which returns to familiar designs and adjusts them through the perspective he has developed since launching the label.
That history remains closely tied to the way Trochopoulos produces his clothes. Since establishing the brand, he has made every garment in-house, sometimes working from his flat. His team has never exceeded three people. This small-scale process has kept the designer closely involved with materials, construction and the physical act of making each piece.
Spring Summer 2027 arrives during a period of expansion for the label, yet Trochopoulos uses the collection to examine what originally defined his work. Past silhouettes return in altered forms, knitwear takes on new functions, and saturated color brings an optimistic charge to the season.
