adidas Originals and Pharrell Williams introduce two new colorways of the VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish for Fall 2026. The latest release brings Red and Storm into the growing footwear lineup, giving the distinctive silhouette two fresh color treatments. Both versions retain the model’s exaggerated proportions, layered construction and sculptural elements, continuing the design direction that has defined the Jellyfish since its debut.
SNEAKERS
The VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish has developed through a succession of limited releases and wider global launches. Each edition explores the possibilities of the original design, using color to draw attention to its unusual construction. Red and Storm continue this approach with two distinct palettes that give the sneaker a different visual character while preserving its recognizable structure.

The silhouette takes inspiration from the movement of a jellyfish, translating its flowing form into an oversized midsole. Curved elements create a sense of movement throughout the shoe, giving its lower section an organic appearance. The midsole establishes the foundation for the model’s exaggerated proportions and remains one of its defining features.
Above the sole, an engineered mesh upper introduces texture and supports the sneaker’s layered construction. A sculptural cage surrounds the upper, adding depth and emphasizing the shoe’s dimensional form. These components work together to establish the futuristic appearance that distinguishes the VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish within the adidas Originals footwear lineup.

Glow-in-the-dark detailing adds another visual feature to the design. The illuminated elements contribute to the sneaker’s recognizable identity, introducing an additional effect to its already complex construction. With the arrival of Red and Storm, these established design features receive new visual treatments that draw attention to the relationship between color, texture and form.
The Red colorway brings a new palette to the silhouette, while Storm offers a separate interpretation for the Fall season. Both versions maintain the same architectural approach, with the flowing midsole, engineered mesh and external cage continuing to define the sneaker. The two releases demonstrate how color can change the appearance of the Jellyfish while maintaining the core elements of Pharrell Williams’ design.

The project also continues the development of VIRGINIA, Pharrell Williams’ creative platform connecting fashion, design, music and community. Through his ongoing relationship with adidas Originals, Pharrell uses the platform to explore unconventional forms and extend his creative ideas across different disciplines. The Adistar Jellyfish represents this approach through its experimental proportions and recognizable construction.

The latest release adds another chapter to the collaboration, building on the response to the silhouette’s previous limited and global launches. Red and Storm maintain the oversized shape that has characterized the model from its introduction, bringing fresh options to the expanding VIRGINIA footwear collection.
The VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish Red and Storm colorways will launch globally on October 24, 2026, with a retail price of $300 USD per pair. adidas will offer both versions through the CONFIRMED app, adidas app and select retailers worldwide.
