adidas and Detroit-based artist Tyrrell Winston introduce The Fan, the third installment of their collaborative series exploring the people and communities influencing contemporary sports culture. Following The Artist and The Athlete, the latest release turns its attention to supporters and their role in shaping the atmosphere surrounding sporting events. The collection draws from Winston’s Midwest influences, bringing workwear-inspired clothing and functional footwear into a wardrobe for everyday use.

The collaboration considers the clothing needs of fans who regularly attend games, travel to events and support their teams throughout the year. Winston references utilitarian garments associated with his Midwestern roots, focusing on practical construction and comfortable fits. The collection incorporates outerwear, trousers, casual essentials and accessories that accommodate movement and changing weather conditions.

Footwear leads the release with the TW Spiritain 2000, a sneaker that takes inspiration from running shoes of the early 2000s. The silhouette combines performance mesh with premium cracked-leather overlays, introducing a textured finish across the upper. An Off-White, Grey and Equipment Red colour scheme defines the design, drawing attention to the different materials and construction details.
Gold accents introduce additional detailing, while Winston’s signature appears on the heel and lace aglets. The sneaker follows the collection’s practical direction, offering a design that considers everyday movement through its running-inspired construction.

The apparel selection centres on the TW adidas Z.N.E. puffer jacket, which features an oversized fit and an adjustable, removable hood. Embroidered signature details appear on the interior lining and back, connecting the outerwear to Winston’s visual identity. The jacket provides coverage for colder conditions while maintaining the generous proportions that define the collection.
Winston pairs the puffer with black workwear trousers featuring an elastic waistband and snap-button fastening. Zipped front pockets offer storage, while four additional pockets at the back extend the trousers’ functional construction. The design takes cues from traditional utility clothing, giving the garment a practical role within the wider wardrobe.

Another key piece, the TW adidas Z.N.E. workwear jacket, draws directly from Midwest workwear. Its oversized silhouette features an enzyme-washed finish that gives the fabric a worn appearance. Swing-back construction allows additional freedom of movement, reflecting the collection’s focus on comfort during daily activities.
A relaxed-fit T-shirt provides a casual option within the apparel range. The 85 Cap completes the collection, offering an accessory that follows the same sports-inspired direction. Wearers can combine the garments into coordinated outfits or incorporate individual pieces into their existing wardrobes.

Speaking about the collaboration, Winston explained that The Fan recognises the people whose continued enthusiasm sustains sports culture. He pointed to supporters who attend events through successful seasons and difficult periods, describing their energy and participation as essential to the sporting experience. His personal connection to Midwest workwear informed the collection’s design, particularly its emphasis on clothing for regular wear and movement.
The adidas x Tyrrell Winston The Fan collection launches worldwide on October 22, 2026, through selected stores, online channels and the adidas CONFIRMED app.
