Bottega Veneta presents They Dance Too, its end-of-year campaign under the creative direction of Louise Trotter. Set inside a mysterious disco surrounded by an alpine setting, the campaign brings together actress Julianne Moore, dancer Léo Walk and a cast of models for a night of music and movement. The project marks the transition from 2026 to 2027, drawing inspiration from the closing sequence of Claire Denis’ 1999 film Beau Travail.

Moore takes centre stage as the life of the party, dancing to Corona’s The Rhythm of the Night. The song establishes a direct connection to Denis’ film, whose finale provides the central reference for the campaign. Bottega Veneta uses this cinematic moment to explore the freedom of movement and the shared experience of welcoming another year.

Photographer Drew Vickers captures the campaign, while Stephen Kidd creates the accompanying video. Their work places the cast inside an unusual alpine disco, where dancing brings activity and energy to an otherwise empty location.
Alongside Moore and Walk, the campaign features Amelie Loblich, Anine van Velzen, Gertrud Rose, Leon Dame, Lina Zhang and Mubarak Oyewola. Together, the cast creates a gathering of individuals whose different approaches to movement shape the atmosphere of the disco.

The inclusion of Léo Walk brings a professional dancer into the cast, extending the campaign’s emphasis on physical expression. Moore’s central performance provides the connection to Beau Travail, with the soundtrack guiding the sequence and establishing its cinematic reference.
The campaign also introduces accessories from Bottega Veneta, including the debut of the Verde bag. The new design appears alongside the Baby Campana, Mini Knot Lock and Andiamo Clutch, which feature vibrant metallic finishes and warm textures.

These accessories form part of Trotter’s seasonal vision, placing the house’s designs within the movement and activity of the campaign. Their metallic surfaces and varied textures contribute to the visual character of the disco setting.
The title They Dance Too draws on the campaign’s reference to Beau Travail, which translates to “good work.” Bottega Veneta interprets this idea through the collective recognition of achievements at the end of the year and the anticipation of what comes next.
