Prabal Gurung brings a refreshing mix of classic and contemporary with the recently revealed Resort 2014 collection. Designer's original prints are arranged in an engaging colour blocking manner. Subtly emphasizing the spirit of early spring going hand in hand with the new design. Even when presenting chromatic – black and white pieces, the notion of spring is always in the air.
While modern and minimal can often mean disappointing, with Prabal's resort collection that is not the case. Instead, the designs come with a trend-setting sentiment. To pose for the elegantly shot lookbook, the label cast promising up and comers such as Mila Mijo Mihaljcic (walked over 40 shows in her first runway season!), Chiharu Okunugi, and Daphne Velghe. While the moment of the ever fitting viola tricolor gone 3D can only be described as inspiring. The collection leaves us waiting with excitement Prabal's spring summer 2014 design.
