For his ready-to-wear fall winter collection Jean Paul Gaultier set the show in a bordel like environment, using fishnets, strong colors, making a peek-a-boo effects with cut out windows on the clothes and adding up X’s, to emphasise even more the XXX factor of the collection. While the collection had quite an S&M; theme, you couldn’t fail to notice that the models looked very empowering, almost like superheroes of the fashion world, maybe they were heroes, because this show makes you forget the whole recession drama on the runways.
