Some may say that the new head designer at Dior Homme, the noted Kris Van Assche, still didnt relax over there, and that he just needs to do exactly that, take a deep breath and relax. To make something clear, I rally did love the last years independent collection of Kris’s, and I also remember the Dior collection SS08 which had only two colors, black and white. So the question is why does this feel more like a follow up collection of the Kriss Van Assche SS08 than an actual Dior, the only thing reminding us of old Dior, its the slim black suit from Hedi Slimanes times, somebody should maybe only focus on one collection, was the shadow of Hedi so big just a year ago?
I hope they have loads of swag, cause those mighty fine new sunglasses, will need to be on a lot of celebrity heads to catch on, a lot!
