The show commences with a nod to childhood nostalgia, as a spherical figure, reminiscent of Doraemon, dons a blue and white ball shirt, propelled by a Take-copter. Morinaga draws inspiration from the beloved Japanese cartoon character and its creator, Fujiko F. Fujio, crafting a whimsical tribute that blurs the lines between reality and fantasy.
Following Doraemon’s lead, other iconic characters from the series make their appearance, each represented by a distinct geometric shape and clad in reimagined versions of their signature attire. The runway evolves with spherical creations, teasing Morinaga’s upcoming HERNO® Globe collection, merging sustainability with Italian luxury craftsmanship.
