Roksanda’s Spring Summer 2025 collection, showcased at London Fashion Week, is an interplay between nature and modernity. Photographer Stencer Saintelange captured backstage moments at the Roksanda Spring Summer 25 show, exclusively for DSCENE Magazine. Drawing inspiration from the work of environmental artist Agnes Denes, particularly her famous “Wheatfield – A Confrontation” installation, Roksanda Ilincic created a collection that explores the tension between organic beauty and industrial elements. The collection features long, slim jackets and coats with cutout details, juxtaposed with softer, more playful designs that celebrate the freedom of nature.

The color palette is rooted in the natural world, with shades like mint, melon, aubergine, and egg yolk bringing a sense of optimism and romance to the collection. Flowing taffeta dresses with dramatic bows and trains provide an air of grandeur, while abstract prints inspired by the Belgrade countryside evoke the personal connection the designer has with her homeland.
Textural play is a key highlight, with bold fringe details and cellophane-like materials adding movement and whimsy. Footwear also steps into the spotlight with shaggy real shearling Fitflops, balancing high fashion with comfort and wearability. Throughout the collection, Roksanda demonstrates her signature architectural tailoring with more romantic, free-spirited elements, creating a cohesive narrative that speaks to the resilience of nature in an increasingly industrialized world.
