As a playful twist on traditional couture presentations, the show features an AI lady speaker who announces each look, further integrating the theme of technology and automation into the very fabric of the event. This innovative approach to the runway reflects the collection’s core message: fashion as a fusion of historical reverence and futuristic exploration.
Crafted from luxurious Italian silk gazar sourced from RuTo Coli, a revered family-run business in the Como silk and textile district, the collection spans 24 looks, each designed with a unique combination of Viktor&Rolf’s hallmark ruffles and bows. The designs oscillate between extravagance and restraint, showcasing the designers’ mastery in manipulating fabric and form.
Accentuating the couture are custom brown satin heels and flats designed by Christian Louboutin, complemented by an array of vintage jewelry pieces curated by Droomfabriek Amsterdam.
