Anteprima presents the Spring Summer 2026 collection as a dialogue between fashion and art, shaped by creative director Izumi Ogino’s collaboration with Japanese sculptor Takahiro Iwasaki. Known for his miniature, meditative works, Iwasaki brings a perspective rooted in fragility and regeneration. Together, they develop a seasonal vision under the theme Echoes of Transience. From fragility, we build. From decay, we create.

The collaboration explores transformation by turning weak or overlooked elements into something lasting. Ogino draws inspiration from dust, thread, and hair, materials that usually vanish unnoticed, and reimagines them as symbols of resilience. These references extend to structures such as towers and temples, which inform the proportions of garments. The collection incorporates recycled and biodegradable fabrics, positioning sustainability as an essential part of Anteprima’s artistic language.

The runway for Spring Summer 2026 featured a reflective pond, serving as a metaphor for both structure and transience. Garments emphasize transparency and architectural construction, with layered styling that mirrors Iwasaki’s installations. Lightweight knits and sheer fabrics flow with movement, while their structured forms recall the rhythm of suspended towers. The pieces evoke both fragility and permanence, echoing the artist’s vision of balance between order and disorder.

Color plays a central role in conveying optimism. The palette includes vivid tones of blue, green, yellow, and pink, softened by pastels such as ivory, mint, and peach. Shades of wisteria, lilac, and violet add depth, while orange appears on sculptural helmets as a symbol of reconstruction. Through these choices, Anteprima connects human intervention with the idea of renewal.

Textural exploration reinforces the collaboration’s artistic intent. Recycled threads, metallic yarns, and translucent materials reflect Iwasaki’s tactile vocabulary. The collection integrates regenerated nylon and polyester alongside zero-waste artisanal techniques. These approaches highlight the importance of sustainability while emphasizing transformation and reinvention.

The garments themselves extend this experimental vision. Coats carry trompe-l’oeil details, while trenches are reinterpreted in shorter proportions and cotton bermudas. An artwork by Iwasaki transforms into a print on breathable mesh knitwear, while polo shirts and knit skirts reference industrial construction nets. Each piece demonstrates how the ordinary can be reshaped into wearable art.

Anteprima continues to strengthen its connection with Japanese contemporary artists, reinforcing a vision of fashion as both artistic and poetic. Through its collaboration with Iwasaki, the brand reaffirms its commitment to creativity grounded in regeneration, with a collection that turns fragility into strength and everyday materials into something enduring.
