Lanvin presents the Pre-Fall 2026 collection through a vision shaped by Copping’s return to the sites Jeanne Lanvin once explored in Venice. Her 1920s journey with her niece Marianne offered a clear reference point for his research. Copping walked the same routes she once followed and used those experiences to understand how Jeanne approached beauty through instinct and curiosity. She built the Maison around that sense of discovery, and Pre-Fall 2026 draws strength from the same foundation.
PRE-FALL 2026 COLLECTIONS
Copping sharpens the silhouette through a mix of flou gestures and sculptural structure. Collars rise with architectural definition. Compact cashmere forms knitwear with firm presence. Blanket skirts deliver weight and volume. Textured coats wrap the body with protective intent. Evening pieces gain depth through heat-set embellishments that reinterpret historic embroidery in a contemporary format. Tops, dresses, and second-skin jerseys carry Murano-inspired prints that recall the glass workshops Jeanne once visited during her Venetian travels.
Color shapes the season with a spectrum of greys that sets the base of the palette. Vivid rubis and Venetian reds introduce concentrated accents. The new Lanvin Blue, revealed earlier this year, appears in subtle placements such as linings and accessory insoles, offering a discreet signature that strengthens the Maison’s evolving identity.
The accessories follow the same focus. Copping brings back the Compagnon bag as a new generation after its first appearance in his debut collection. It arrives in three sizes and ranges from croc-embossed finishes to glossy lacquered leather. The Midnight Step mule shifts into a day version and features a wooden take on its sculptural heel, extending its role within the season’s vocabulary.
Duo Chaumont–Zaerpour documents Copping’s fourth collection through imagery shaped by dramatic lighting and the moody tension of 1930s studio photography found in the Maison’s archives. They set this atmosphere against the autumn character of Paris’ Parc Monceau, forming a dialogue between historic reference and seasonal texture. In charge of styling was Leopold Duchemin, with beauty from hair stylist Tom Wright, and makeup artist Stephanie Kunz. Stars of the session are models Xiaohan Chen and Sihana Shalaj.
