The Paris announcement deepens the house’s creative exchange with the Grammy-winning artist under Pharrell Williams’ direction.

Louis Vuitton announces Future as a Friend of the House, marking a new chapter in the fashion house’s ongoing dialogue with contemporary music and culture. Revealed in Paris on December 15, 2025, the appointment reflects the direction set by Pharrell Williams, Men’s Creative Director, whose vision continues to expand the Louis Vuitton community through close ties with artists shaping today’s creative climate.

Future’s relationship with Louis Vuitton has developed organically over time. The four-time Grammy Award winner has appeared in custom Louis Vuitton designs on several high-profile occasions, most notably at the 2025 Met Gala. For the exhibition themed “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” Future wore a grey quarter-zip ensemble layered with a tie, designed by Pharrell Williams. His presence at the Men’s Spring–Summer 2026 show in Paris, invited by Williams, further signaled a shared creative alignment that now formalizes into this new role.

Beyond fashion, Future remains one of the most influential figures in contemporary music. The Atlanta-born rapper, producer, and composer recently released two consecutive albums, We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You, both of which reached the top of international charts and sparked wide critical response. Across his career, Future has secured eleven number-one albums and a long list of chart-leading singles, driven by a prolific output and a sound that continues to evolve while shaping the direction of modern hip-hop.

Louis Vuitton positions this partnership as part of its broader commitment to engaging with artists who operate across disciplines and redefine cultural impact on a global scale. Future’s presence within the house reflects a shared focus on creativity, authorship, and forward-looking expression, values that remain central to Louis Vuitton under Pharrell Williams’ leadership. As Friend of the House, Future joins a network of creatives whose influence extends well beyond their primary fields, reinforcing Louis Vuitton’s role at the intersection of fashion, music, and contemporary culture.
