Euphoria will return for its third season on Sunday, April 12, airing from 9:00 to 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and streaming on HBO Max. The eight-episode season will debut weekly. Sam Levinson continues as creator, writer, director, and executive producer, with production handled in partnership with A24.

Cassie and Nate remain a couple, with a fleeting glimpse suggesting a wedding, yet tension simmers between them. Cassie’s provocative online activity irritates Nate, revealing lingering conflicts and the complex dynamics shaped by their shared history.
Throughout the teaser, the ensemble’s struggles with identity, relationships, and the residues of their high‑school trauma are foregrounded, teasing a season that expands both emotionally and visually as the characters attempt to forge lives beyond their past.
The preview acknowledges prior developments without replaying them. Lexi’s play, Cal’s arrest, and Rue’s sobriety remain part of the series’ foundation as the characters face adulthood beyond high school. Sam Levinson has previously confirmed that Jules attends art school and that Maddy works at a talent agency in Hollywood during this period.
Season three features returning series regulars Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and Toby Wallace. HBO has also confirmed returning guest appearances from Colman Domingo, Dominic Fike, Nika King, and Alanna Ubach, alongside new guest roles including Sharon Stone, ROSALÍA, Danielle Deadwyler, Marshawn Lynch, Asante Blackk, and Natasha Lyonne.
Production for the new season used a newly developed KODAK motion picture film stock in both 35mm and 65mm formats. Levinson collaborated with cinematographer Marcell Rév and Kodak to bring the stock into commercial use. The season marks the first narrative television series to shoot a significant portion in 65mm, resulting in a larger on-screen image as the story shifts into adulthood.
