adidas and Bad Bunny introduce the BadBo 1.0, the artist’s first signature shoe, marking a new phase in their ongoing collaboration. The release reflects a shared focus on self-expression and individuality, translated into a footwear design that draws from sport and street culture.

The BadBo 1.0 addresses people who reject fixed labels and linear definitions. The concept speaks to identity as a sequence of choices that change over time. Bad Bunny, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, has consistently resisted simple classification in his music and public image. The shoe reflects that same outlook by framing identity as something flexible and open-ended, guided by personal decisions instead of expectation.

Material selection plays a key role in the BadBo 1.0. The upper uses nubuck and hairy teasel suede, giving the shoe a tactile surface with visible texture. An EVA midsole supports everyday wear, while a translucent rubber outsole completes the structure. adidas applies these components to support performance needs while maintaining a distinct visual language connected to contemporary fashion and personal style.

adidas limits the first release of the BadBo 1.0 to 1,994 pairs. The number acknowledges Bad Bunny’s birth year and signals the start of his signature footwear line.

The BadBo 1.0 in a brown colorway retails for $160 and is available exclusively via badbunnyadidas.com.
