Fashion house Adeam introduced its Fall Winter 2026 collection under the theme Romantic x Prep, shaping a focused study of contrast through design. Hanako Maeda grounded the season in the idea of “The Architecture of Romance, the Etiquette of Prep,” and translated that concept into garments that balance softness with structure. The collection reframes classic references through a feminine perspective that feels direct and current.

Maeda drew inspiration from her upbringing in prep schools in New York City and Tokyo. That experience informs the collection’s visual language and guides its direction. She connects Upper East Side prep codes with Tokyo’s Kawaii romanticism, pairing polished tradition with youthful expression. This dual influence shapes the foundation of the season and defines its tone.
Silhouettes carry the theme forward. Puff sleeves, delicate ties, and fluid draping introduce a romantic sensibility, while blazers with firm lines and architectural pleating provide structure. Each look reflects a dialogue between expressiveness and discipline. The garments present romance through proportion and construction, allowing tailoring to frame softer elements.
Fabric choices reinforce this exchange. Tulle and chiffon introduce lightness and air, while cashmere knitwear brings warmth and depth. The designer places airy textiles beside substantial knits, building tension through touch and weight.
Pearls and gold buttons reference prep codes, while scarf-inspired prints extend the narrative of refinement. A neutral color palette anchors the collection and provides continuity throughout. Red and electric blue inject energy into the lineup, sharpening the visual impact of key looks.
Adeam presented the Fall Winter 2026 collection on Friday, February 13th, 2026, during New York Fashion Week. Fashion photographer Seiji Fujimori captured the lookbook featuring models Yuka Mannami, Sarah Ferguson, Meerle Haket, Razak Boissier and Keigo.
