Burberry introduces Checking Out for Summer, a Spring Summer 2026 eyewear campaign that places its signature visual language into a coastal setting shaped by light, water, and ease. The project highlights the Burberry Check across a new generation of sunglasses and optical frames, framed through a series of candid seaside moments.

Fronting the campaign, Iris Law steps into a modern interpretation of Burberry’s aesthetic. She wears oversized sunglasses and refined optical frames paired with swimwear and summer accessories that extend the collection’s seasonal direction. Her presence sets a relaxed tone that aligns with the collection’s focus on wearability and directness.

Alongside her, Tunji Obembe appears in a quieter register, captured reading by the shoreline in contemporary eyewear silhouettes. His styling reinforces the campaign’s understated rhythm, where moments feel unposed and grounded in everyday summer gestures rather than constructed narrative.
The eyewear collection itself revisits the Burberry Check through multiple interpretations, translating the pattern into frame detailing, surface accents, and tonal variations. Instead of treating the check as decoration, the collection integrates it into the structure of the eyewear, allowing it to shift between subtle and defined expressions depending on shape and material.
Set against a sunlit coastline, the campaign builds a visual language around natural movement and openness. Frames sit within scenes that emphasize heat, reflection, and the softness of summer light, positioning eyewear as part of lived experience rather than a standalone object. The coastal backdrop reinforces the ease of the collection while maintaining focus on design clarity.

Creative direction by Martin Senyszak, photography by Anton Gottlob, and set design by Jack Appleyard shape a campaign that stays visually restrained while highlighting texture, framing, and proportion. Each element supports a cohesive reading of the collection, where styling and environment remain closely aligned.
With Checking Out for Summer, Burberry continues to work within its established codes while shifting them into a lighter seasonal context. The result places eyewear at the center of a relaxed summer narrative, where heritage motifs move through contemporary silhouettes and coastal simplicity.
