The trailer finds Enola preparing to marry Lord Tewkesbury, played by Louis Partridge. Her path to the altar changes when she receives news that Sherlock Holmes has been kidnapped. Henry Cavill returns as the famous detective, whose disappearance sends Enola into a case that links her professional instincts with questions about her own future.
Enola must search for Sherlock while confronting her complicated feelings about marriage. The new footage presents romance as a central part of the story, with her relationship with Tewkesbury moving into a new stage. Action, clues and shifting loyalties surround the couple as Enola follows the investigation across Malta.
The official description places personal and professional ambitions in direct conflict. Enola arrives in the island nation with clear expectations for her life, yet the case becomes more dangerous and complex than anything she has handled before. Her search requires the same independence and intelligence that shaped the first two films, now tested against the possibility of a permanent change in her relationship.

The trailer places Sherlock’s kidnapping at the center of the mystery, while Enola’s wedding plans give the case a more personal urgency. Malta provides a new location for the series and moves the action into unfamiliar territory. With its returning cast, new setting and developing romance, the third film sends Enola into a case that could alter several parts of her life at once. Enola Holmes 3 arrives on Netflix on July 1, 2026.
