Vans brings new colorways to the Premium Old Skool 36 Souvenir, extending the release with Asphalt, Faded Black, Oatmeal and Navy. The updated lineup follows the recent sell-out of the Warm Brown and Burgundy editions and adds a wider range of tones to the elevated Old Skool format.
SNEAKERS
The Old Skool 36 Souvenir builds on one of Vans’ most recognizable silhouettes through a mix of texture, color and removable detail. The shoe features a spray-painted upper, leather overlays, a multicolored tweed Sidestripe and Vans-themed pins. These elements give the sneaker a collected quality, turning the familiar Old Skool shape into a design built around customization and memory.

Asphalt starts the new release schedule. Vans will launch the colorway on June 25 through Vans.com and select Vans retail stores. The brand will also offer the Asphalt edition early at Vans Paris Le Marais, where customers can shop the pair exclusively from June 22. That Paris release gives the colorway a first retail date before the wider rollout.
Faded Black and Oatmeal follow on July 23. Both versions continue the same Souvenir construction with new surface treatments and color choices. Navy arrives on August 20, completing the announced release plan. Vans will offer these later drops through Vans.com and select Vans retail stores.

The model draws much of its character from its material mix. The spray-painted upper gives the sneaker a worked-in visual effect, while leather overlays add structure. The multicolored tweed Sidestripe shifts a signature Vans feature into a richer texture. The removable pins add a playful element and let wearers adjust the shoe’s look over time.
Vans connects the Old Skool 36 Souvenir to its Premium design approach, which focuses on elevated materials, modern comfort, updated form, improved fit and a revised feel for classic Vans models. The Souvenir edition applies that approach through tactile details and a stronger fashion angle, while the shape keeps its link to the original Old Skool.

The new drops also extend the idea of the sneaker as a personal keepsake. Vans describes the Old Skool 36 Souvenir as a cultural token for self-expression, tied to the brand’s Off The Wall mindset. Through Asphalt, Faded Black, Oatmeal and Navy, the model gains new options for summer 2026 while keeping pins, tweed and painted texture as its defining features.
