The Triangle marks the latest addition to Jordan Brand’s basketball footwear range. It also becomes the second Jordan performance model to receive a dedicated NY vs. NY edition. Jordan Brand previously introduced an NY vs. NY version of the Luka 77 during its Dyckman presence last year, where the shoe received a strong response.

For the remainder of the 2026 tournament, players from Zone 6 and Dyckman Girls will wear the Jordan Triangle NY vs. NY during competition. Their participation places the shoe on courts that continue to shape New York City basketball culture. Jordan Brand will launch the colorway on July 28, 2026, through Foot Locker stores throughout New York City, where fans can purchase it exclusively.
Jordan Brand created the Triangle as a low-cut performance shoe for players at every level and in every playing role. The model targets the demands of the current game through explosive energy return, lasting comfort, traction and support. Its name references the triangle offense, a system that emphasizes activity away from the ball and contributions from every player on the floor.

The cushioning setup combines two Nike technologies. ZoomX foam fills the forefoot, while Air Zoom supports the heel. This dual system helps generate energy during explosive actions and provides stability and protection when players land. A Cushlon 3.0 carrier adds a soft and responsive feel underfoot, while an injection-molded shank strengthens the midfoot during cuts and changes of direction.
The low-profile construction brings athletes closer to the floor and creates a direct court feel. Jordan Brand also uses a carbon-fiber-inspired woven upper to provide breathability, strength and stability. The ventilated construction helps players remain fresh during extended playing time.

Underfoot, a full-length Hart Rubber 2.0 herringbone outsole supplies traction at both ends of the floor. Jordan Brand uses this outsole pattern throughout its basketball footwear, and the Triangle applies it to quick cuts, direction changes and two-way play.
Jordan Brand developed the Triangle through athlete feedback and focused each component on the physical demands of extended play. The company first released the model in three colorways on July 2, 2026. The NY vs. NY edition follows later in the month and connects the new silhouette with New York City’s summer tournament schedule, local competitors and outdoor basketball tradition.
