PUMA and Borussia Dortmund have revealed the club’s 2026/27 Away Kit, introducing an all-black shirt with a tonal zigzag graphic and bright yellow details. The club crest and PUMA Cat bring yellow accents to the design, creating an immediate connection to Borussia Dortmund’s familiar colors.

The tonal graphic runs through the black fabric and references the energy of Borussia Dortmund supporters who regularly travel with the club. PUMA developed the shirt around the connection between BVB and its traveling fanbase, drawing from the presence supporters bring to away matches throughout Europe and the experience that continues from the stadium to the trip home.
Dominique Gathier, PUMA VP Teamsport, described away kits as an opportunity for PUMA and Borussia Dortmund to tell another part of the club’s story to fans in different markets. He also linked the design to the passion and travel associated with the fanbase and described Borussia Dortmund as one of PUMA’s most important football partnerships.
PUMA offers the 2026/27 Away Kit in Authentic and Replica versions. The Authentic jersey uses the brand’s ULTRAWEAVE fabric, which gives the shirt an ultra-lightweight construction designed for unrestricted performance at elite level. PUMA also incorporates dryCELL and ThermoAdapt technologies to manage sweat and regulate body heat during play.
The Replica jersey carries the same visual identity through a silhouette designed for match days and everyday wear. PUMA produces the Replica version with its RE technology, using 95 percent recycled polyester sourced from textile waste.
Both versions maintain the all-black base and tonal zigzag treatment, while the yellow crest and PUMA Cat provide the main color accents. The combination links the shirt directly to Borussia Dortmund while giving the away design a distinct identity for the new season.
