Nike brings back the Air Foamposite Pro Green Camo, returning to the military-inspired colorway that first appeared in 2013. The new edition uses a Black and Multi-Color palette and keeps the screen-printed camouflage treatment on the molded Foamposite upper. The sneaker returns on September 18.

The 2026 edition follows the visual formula of the earlier Green Camo release with shades of green, tan and brown covering the molded shell. Black surrounds the printed Foamposite construction and continues onto the nubuck eyestay, tongue and collar. The combination gives the camouflage pattern most of the visual emphasis while retaining the distinctive structure associated with the Air Foamposite Pro.

A large three-dimensional black Swoosh appears on the lateral side, one of the key details separating the Foamposite Pro from other models in the Foamposite family. A smaller Volt Swoosh adds a bright accent against the black eyestay. Nike describes the upper as carrying the model’s familiar liquid-like appearance, with the screen-printed treatment bringing back the Green Camo colorway.
The Foamposite concept traces back to an experimental Nike project led by Eric Avar and the company’s Advanced Product Engineering team. Avar pursued the idea of creating a molded shell around the foot using polyurethane poured into a mold. The development process took several years before Nike introduced the Air Foamposite One in 1997, establishing the construction that later supported a wider Foamposite family.

The Air Foamposite Pro applies that molded construction to a design distinguished by prominent Swoosh branding. Nike originally developed the Foamposite platform for performance basketball, combining its sculpted upper with cushioning designed for court use. The molded Foamposite material gradually conforms to the foot, while its structural construction creates the recognizable shell that defines the series.
Underfoot, the Green Camo edition uses full-length Zoom Air cushioning with an additional Zoom Air unit in the heel. Nike currently describes the Air Foamposite Pro platform as using full-length and heel Zoom Air for lightweight cushioning. A foam midsole remains hidden inside the construction.

The outsole switches to gum rubber, with herringbone traction pods providing grip beneath the shoe. An exposed carbon fiber shank plate reinforces the midfoot and adds another familiar technical element from the Foamposite line.
