The Blonds marked 20 years with its Spring Summer 2027 runway show during New York Fashion Week, presenting a collection that brought two decades of the label’s fashion together with new designs, live performance and technology. Presented by Motorola Razr, the show took place at Lavan Midtown in New York.
SPRING SUMMER 2027
Founded by Phillipe and David Blond, the label has built its identity through fashion, nightlife and performance, developing an instantly recognizable visual vocabulary shaped by theatrical dressing and high-impact surface treatments. For the anniversary show, the designers returned to their archive while considering how those codes continue into the next phase of the brand.

The runway featured more than 50 archival looks selected from The Blonds’ history and styled again for the occasion. Diamonds, pearls, chains and spikes appeared throughout the selection, revisiting details that have played a recurring role in the label’s collections over the past two decades. Custom Christian Louboutin footwear accompanied the looks, while Skynea created eyewear for the presentation.
The designers treated the archive as active material for the runway, presenting familiar pieces within the context of the current collection. The approach allowed the show to trace the development of The Blonds through clothing while keeping the focus on the exaggerated glamour and theatricality associated with the label from its earliest years.
Motorola Razr also played a direct role in the collection. Seven archival looks drew inspiration from the colors and materials of the 2026 Motorola Razr family, connecting elements from the label’s past with the technology partnership behind the show.

Paris Hilton, a longtime collaborator of The Blonds, appeared in a custom look inspired by Motorola’s newest Brilliant Collection device. She carried the Meteorite version of the phone, which features crystals by Swarovski, bringing the partnership into the runway through both fashion and product design. Hair director Kien Hoang created the hair looks for Oribe, while Deney Adam and Kiehl’s worked on makeup.
Phillipe and David described the show as an opportunity to return to pieces that have defined the label during its first 20 years. They also credited the community around The Blonds and New York itself for shaping the brand throughout that period.

“Tonight we bring a few of our most iconic archival pieces back to life for one night only at New York Fashion Week,” the designers said. They described the show as an expression of gratitude toward the people who helped build the label and acknowledged the city that has remained closely connected to its identity.
The anniversary format gave The Blonds an opportunity to place its archive beside its current direction rather than presenting Spring Summer 2027 as an isolated season. By returning dozens of previous designs to the runway alongside new work, the designers presented the collection as a record of where the label has been and where it plans to go next. Following the runway show, The Blonds hosted its official Spring Summer 2027 after-party at Nebula in New York City, with cocktails provided by Biatch Tequila.
