Marc Jacobs closes its three-part campaign film The Swap with “Chapter Three: The Twist,” the latest installment from the Question Marc series. Rowan Blanchard and Jemima Kirke return for the conclusion, while Jeremy O. Harris once again narrates the increasingly chaotic search surrounding the Scene Bag.

The final chapter picks up with Jemima still looking for her missing bag. Her search sends her around New York, where clues gradually lead her closer to an answer. She begins with flyered telephone poles before turning to a candlelit manifestation. Eventually, one detail provides the information she needs: “Bookmarc, 6:30.”
Jemima follows the clue to Bookmarc, where Rowan waits with the Scene Bag in hand. Their meeting finally resolves the mystery that has carried across all three chapters of The Swap. The reunion also reveals several remaining surprises, including objects the two characters have carried with them throughout the campaign.
Rowan and Jemima then take control of the closing sequence themselves. They revisit what happened through a tarot-style reading, using the objects inside their Scene Bags to complete the account of the events that brought them together.
“Once upon a time, in New York, at a Marc Jacobs show,” begins their retelling. Jemima and Rowan continue together, finishing one another’s sentences as they reconstruct the events surrounding the bag. Jeremy eventually steps back in to deliver the final conclusion to the case: the only crime came from ever describing the bag as an accessory. In his version of events, the Scene Bag held the lead role from the beginning.

Jeremy’s narration continues to guide “The Twist” through every new clue and change of direction. His commentary treats Jemima’s search like a detective case while keeping the campaign rooted in fashion satire. The tone turns an apparently simple bag swap into an episodic mystery built around misunderstandings, clues and the characters’ own reactions.
The conclusion also explains the significance of the objects carried inside the Scene Bags. Those personal items have provided clues throughout The Swap, and the final chapter brings their meaning into focus as Rowan and Jemima examine what they have been carrying all along.

“The Twist” completes the three-part structure of The Swap and brings its central mystery to an end. Marc Jacobs, however, leaves Question Marc open for further installments. The series will continue with different characters, new situations and additional questions.
Marc Jacobs created Question Marc as a social-first entertainment series that connects fashion, talent, humor and episodic storytelling. The format allows individual campaigns to develop across several chapters while keeping the Marc Jacobs universe as their shared setting.
